A REAL family man!!

Before I get to Mitt’s priority on The Family, I want to share news of an exciting phone call I received this evening - It was the Governor!

I am a Chapter President of an Americans for Prosperity chapter here in NC. The State Director has become a good friend and he’s in DC for the National event. He called me this evening and said - answer your cell phone in just a minute and hung up. He called back abut 10 min later and said someone wants to talk to you - I heard “Well hello Heather - this is Mitt Romney.”

I chuckled and said “No way - Governor Romney - THANK YOU.” (I was nervous!) He asked me how my baby is - I saw him a month ago here in NC. I said “I saw you just a few days before she was born” - he said - “I know, in Raleigh and you were due in a couple days. Tell me about her - what’s her name? How is she?” He was very relaxed and nice - we talked for a few minutes. I mentioned to him that I was just working with a few ladies on the website - he thanked me for my work on Moms4Mitt.com.

My head is numb!! This was very exciting -to be in my PJs talking about my new baby to the Governor! What a night - I had to share! I have been on cloud nine all evening!!

The Romney family’s big day

Posted by: Heather | Comments (0)

Yesterday there was so much activity surrounding Mitt Romney’s announcement! Many of us have been waiting for some time to hear him announce his candidacy for President. You can watch his entire speech here

MittTV candidacy speech

His speech filled me with hope as he mentioned that DOING is the key! Mitt brings competency and action to the table. Mitt talked about his parents and how he learned by example to be a hard worker, volunteer and capable business leader.

One of my favorites things Mitt talked about was that he is not of Washington and doesn’t owe any political favors to anyone! He is a proven innovator and has transformed corporations, government an in international organization.

Run Mitt, Run!!! I am behind you 100 percent!!!
